• CNN senior justice correspondent Evan Perez inaccurately claimed that semiautomatic firearms could fire “dozens of bullets” with a single pull of the trigger while covering a Minneapolis shooting.
• Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey scolded any Christian who is offering their “prayers” for the victims of the Annunciation Catholic School shooting on Wednesday.
• “Don’t just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now. These kids were literally praying. It was the first week of school, they were in a church,” Frey said during a press conference.
• Jen Psaki shamed Christians on Wednesday who were praying for those afflicted in the Annunciation Catholic School shooting. Following the tragedy, Psaki wrote on X that “prayers” are “not freaking enough” to stop school shootings.
