• U.S. Southern Command said the USS Helena, a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine, pulled into the waters near the U.S. base in Cuba on Thursday, just a day after a Russian frigate, a nuclear-powered submarine, an oil tanker and a rescue tug crossed into Havana Bay after drills in the Atlantic Ocean.
• In a unanimous 9-0 ruling, the justices rejected a lawsuit from a group of doctors who were pushing for more restrictions on mifepristone, one of two drugs frequently taken together to cause an abortion.
• Nancy Pelosi’s daughter accused Donald Trump of having a “deranged obsession” with her mother after he claimed she once told him that he and the former Democratic House speaker would be “perfect together.”
