• Judge Merchan told the jury that they do not need unanimity to convict Former President Trump. 4 could agree on one crime, 4 on a different one, and the other 4 on another. He said he would treat 4-4-4 as a unanimous verdict.
• Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy accused the judge overseeing the hush money trial against Trump of “colluding with prosecutors.”
• A CNN analyst referred to Judge Juan Merchan’s handling of critical jury instructions regarding Trump’s Manhattan criminal case as “crazy.” 
• Former state court judge Carol Lam said she was surprised that Judge Juan Merchan noted particular evidence for the jurors to consider during jury instructions.
• A new forecast model, released by Decision Desk HQ and The Hill, gives Trump a 58% chance of winning the back the White House. The model shows him leading slightly in most of the swing states. The GOP currently has a 79% chance of taking back U.S. Senate control and a 64% chance of maintaining the House majority.
