Hour 1:
- Mark Hecquet with Visit Springfield joins Nick this morning to talk about the convention center.
- Mark is originally from London. He's lived in the states for 35 years now. He talks about the top tourism in and around Springfield.
- Mark believes that a convention center will strengthen our tourism and allow us to compete with Branson. He says that groups have been inquiring about coming to this part of the country, but we don't have the space.
Hour 2:
- Springfield Mayor Jeff Schrag and Presiding Commissioner of the Greene County Commission Bob Dixon join us in the studio this morning.
- The two discuss the upcoming election and the Springfield Convention Center.
