On the Monday post the Cheltenham Festival Nick is joined by Lee Mottershead to reflect on the four days but first up they address the news that The Jockey Club have entered a 20 year deal with catering partner Compass Group’s Levy, resulting in a £100 million payment. Nick and Lee look at where this money might be put to good use including at Aintree and also looking at the significance of Sandown not seemingly receiving any of this investment. Back to Cheltenham, Dan Skelton reflects on his week with two winners and some nice prospects for the future whilst outlining likely plans for stable stars The New Lion, Mydaddypaddy, Grey Dawning etc. before Josh Stacey has the reaction from the winners enclosure after Gaelic Warrior’s demolition job in Friday’s Gold Cup. Jane Mangan is at Ballydoyle for their press morning and has the latest from there in an interview with Aidan O’Brien and finally, Sebastian Hutch of Inglis looks ahead to their Easter Sale coming up later this month.

On the final day of the Cheltenham Festival, Nick is joined on course by Lydia Hislop and Timeform’s Dan Barber to reflect on all the drama from yesterday including comments on the going by Willie Mullins/JP McManus as well as Home By The Lee’s surprise victory in yesterday’s Stayers’ Hurdle. Charlotte is out on the gallops catching up with Patrick Mullins who has a strong book of rides and is full of confidence ahead of Gaelic Warrior’s Gold Cup bid for the team. Ben Pauling joins via FaceTime to look ahead to The Jukebox Man and Diva Luna this afternoon and shares why he’s optimistic for his runner in the Albert Bartlett.

Live from the gallops on Day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival as Nick is joined by Jane Mangan and David Yates to reflect on yesterday’s action, in particular the complaint filed by Declan Queally against Nico de Boinville for comments allegedly made at the start of the Turners Novices Hurdle. Henry de Bromhead has a big day ahead with Bob Olinger looking to go back-to-back in the Stayers Hurdle this afternoon, and joins to discuss his chance as well as his remaining runners over the next two days. With five Grade 1s already on the board, Willie Mullins and David Casey reflect on another fantastic day yesterday and have their say on whether Fact To File will be able to handle the quicker surface in the Ryanair.

Joined on the gallops on Day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival by yesterday’s Champion Hurdle winning jockey Paul Townend as he reflects on Lossiemouth’s achievement and looks ahead to Il Etait Temps and Gaelic Warrior later in the week. Gavin Cromwell is out watching his string and after a couple of good results on day 1, he looks at where his first winner might come from and what he’s expecting from Inothewayurthinkin in Friday’s Gold Cup, as he looks to go back to back. Shark Hanlon offers a very positive bulletin on Hewick who’s bound for the Stayers Hurdle after a wind op and we’re back in the shopping village with artist Liz Armstrong.
