Show Notes
All of us admire tech companies for the products and services they create that make our lives better, and we marvel at their celebrity CEOs who create a company from nothing. While tech company leaders should be highly regarded for what they've achieved, I don't think there's much to learn or apply from their companies to our own. Healthcare service practices are people-oriented, service-driven businesses that are deeply personal and intimate in nature. They're "execution businesses" at their core, so I figured it might be better to share some timeless wisdom from two thought leaders who were instrumental in shaping my early leadership development, the late Jack Welch (former Chairman & CEO of GE) and the late Peter Drucker (former Dean of the USC Business School). I think you're going to enjoy this!
