John's program this week is with Vikki Armstrong, a guest in a prior year, but with a very contemporary message. She had the unique role as a British pentathlete going into the 1980 Olympics. Her team boycotted those Games due to the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Later she became a member of the US Pentathlon team, but was again disappointed by another boycott. They talk over the nature of the pentathlon, competition , the Olympics and her later life.
