Show Notes
John's program this week is a reprise from some years ago. His guest was Pavel Palecek, an historian, political activist and documentarian from Brno in the Czech Republic. The focus of their discussion then was of a Czech military and judicial leader during the Second World War and the Occupation of Czechoslovakia by the Russians until 1992. They talk over this person, Judge Kraal, and the award-winning documentary Pavel produced about this person so dedicated to his beliefs in Communism that led him to do acts which were later condemned as a distortion of the role of an independent judiciary. Kraal also talks of his role in the controversial Czech Legion which fought with the Russians in WWII.
