The Government of Japan awarded Mr. Richard Del Vecchio and Mr. Ernest Aguiar for their efforts in promoting friendly relations between Japan and foreign countries. Del Vecchio was honored for his work with the Miami Friends of the Japanese Garden, while Aguiar was recognized for his public service. The ceremony, held at the Consul General’s Official Residence, celebrated their dedication to Japanese culture and strengthening Japan-Florida relations.
