Blood is central to the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Revelation paints a picture of unity and victory for believers, but gives a sober warning to those who have not trusted in Christ’s blood for the forgiveness of sin. The Christian message is filled with hope in a gracious and merciful God who is also a righteous judge, who also justly punishes the ungodly.
