Political tensions in Maharashtra have escalated due to internal party splits in Shiv Sena and the NCP. Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar, now part of the INDIA opposition bloc, saw their parties fractured by rebellions from Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, respectively.
