China’s always in the news—from trade wars and political tensions to human rights issues. But for nearly four years, no Australian journalist was stationed there. That changed when The Australian’s North Asia correspondent, Will Glasgow, returned this year as the only Aussie reporter on the ground in China. In this episode, we explore what it's like to report from inside China post-COVID, the unique challenges he faces under a communist regime, and how he navigates safety for both himself and his sources.
