The Care for Military Kids Act allows military families' children to retain their waitlist time when their families are relocated

It's hard to imagine something more absurd: military families' children, who have no say in their moves, are penalized for moving across state lines. "Bipartisan members of Congress recently introduced the Care for Military Kids Act, a critical step to allow military children with disabilities to retain their waitlist time when their families are relocated. It is a smart, targeted demonstration that proves what we’ve been saying for decades: portability is possible.
