Mayor Helena Moreno says the city plans to proceed with paying retention bonuses owed to hundreds of New Orleans Police Department officers. The payments, which range from $1,000 to $30,000 based on service history, are expected to receive City Council approval at a special meeting on Wednesday. Eric Hessler, attorney at the Police Association of New Orleans, joins Dave Cohen to talk about the good news.
