Show Notes
The New York Rangers have acquired promising forward Aidan Thompson from the Chicago Blackhawks. Thompson, a five-foot-eleven, one-hundred-eighty-pound forward, brings speed and skill to the lineup. He has shown promise this season with the Rockford IceHogs, scoring fifteen points in forty games. Before turning pro, Thompson starred at the University of Denver, where he helped the Pioneers win the national championship in 2024. He was drafted by the Blackhawks in the third round, ninetieth overall, in the 2022 NHL entry draft. This move gives the Rangers a young prospect with upside as they push forward this season.
