Larry Stahl, a versatile outfielder who played for the New York Mets and other teams, passed away at 84. He appeared in one postseason with the Reds, notching the final hit of his career. Stahl played 733 games, batting .232 with 36 HR and 163 RBI. Hes best known for spoiling a perfect game in 1972, turning it into a no-hitter. After baseball, he worked for a coal company before retiring in Illinois.
