Freddy Peralta, the New York Mets new ace, will start on Opening Day against the Pittsburgh Pirates. This marks his third consecutive Opening Day start. Acquired from the Milwaukee Brewers in January, Peralta brings an impressive resume, including a 17-6 record, 2.70 ERA, and 204 strikeouts in 2022.
