Show Notes
Chris Streveler, an undrafted quarterback from the University of South Dakota, has called it quits after an eight-year pro football career. He spent time in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets, but found his stride in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Streveler, now thirty-one, shared a farewell video this week, marking the end of his journey that began in fifth grade. Despite facing numerous challenges, including position changes in college and no guarantees in the pros, Streveler persevered and built lasting bonds. He helped the Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup in 2018 and 2019, and finished his career with over 4,100 passing yards, 26 passing TDs, 41 rushing TDs, and 9 NFL appearances. Strevelers story is a testament to the power of grit and determination.
