Show Notes
Witness a celestial spectacle on February twenty-eighth as six planets align in a stunning display, known as Planets on Parade. Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will be visible from west to southwest, just after sunset. To spot them, head out thirty to sixty minutes after dark, away from city lights. Jupiter and Mercury will be the most visible, with Jupiter shining brightly and Mercury hugging the horizon. Uranus and Neptune require binoculars or a small telescope. These alignments occur a few times a year, and free apps can help you locate them. If you miss this one, another lineup is scheduled for August twelfth.
