Rayanah Rae Sanabria, a senior at Newtown High School, is a standout leader on three varsity teams: basketball, softball, and soccer. Her exceptional skills have contributed to her teams success across seasons. She started playing basketball in eighth grade and quickly rose to captain. In softball, her pitches reach up to fifty-five miles per hour. Last year, she joined soccer and led her team to a division title. Coaches praise her impact, with her soccer coach calling her a history-maker for the school. Rae is also excelling in the architecture program and plans to major in it at college, while continuing to play basketball. Her determination to learn new skills and achieve her goals sets her apart.
