Queens Man Charged with Murder, Dismemberment: A Shocking Case Unfolds
A seventy-four-year-old man, Rupchand Simboo, has been accused of second-degree murder in the death of his thirty-three-year-old wife, Salisha Ali. Simboo allegedly killed Ali, dismembered her body, and disposed of the remains in two locations across Queens. Despite his not guilty plea, Simboo faces his next court date next week.
Ali was last seen alive in mid-July, and her family couldnt reach her after she missed work. Simboo reported her missing days later, but neighbors described the couple as seemingly happy and normal, with Simboo appearing unbothered even after police involvement.
In September, Alis decomposed torso was found near their home, and just recently, more remains, including a head, leg, and arm, were discovered at the Jamaica Wildlife Refuge. Investigators linked Simboo to both sites using GPS data from his phone and found materials matching those used on the body in their home.
