Show Notes
New York Citys free two-year childcare program, backed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Governor Kathy Hochul, is now accepting applications. The initiative, launched in March, offers no-cost spots for three and four-year-olds in select districts. Bronx rapper Cardi B, a mother herself, is promoting the program, which aims to alleviate the childcare burden for parents. A citywide jingle contest is also underway, with Cardi B on the judging panel, to create the official two-K theme.
