This view says that nothing good comes from the church's involvement in politics. It is wrong because God left Christians on earth to influence society and that by being involved in all aspects of life , which include being in government. Both church and government are instruments to help restrain evil; 1 john 3: 8. Historical church involvement helped rid societies in the past of evil practices like infanticides and branding criminals faces.
