Stephen Colbert, known for his late-night TV show, is venturing into Middle-earth, co-writing a new Lord of the Rings movie, The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past. This film, set fourteen years after Frodos departure, will draw from early chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring and introduce fan-favorite Tom Bombadil.
