Construction of an $84.5 million express shuttle connector road at Louis Armstrong International Airport in Kenner is underway, funded by the Federal Aviation Administration. This project will significantly reduce shuttle travel time from 18 minutes to 7 minutes, benefiting the 9,000 daily passengers.
