March 30 — Luke 23:26–56
The cross is over, the crowd has scattered, and the noise has faded—but what remains is a weight we can’t ignore. Luke 23 doesn’t just show us how Jesus died; it exposes the full reality of human sin on display. From betrayal to brutality, every moment builds to this quiet aftermath where everything slows down and forces a response.
In that silence, unexpected faith rises. A council member steps forward when others shrink back. The women stay when others walk away. And for the first time, Jesus is handled with care and honor. What was once chaos becomes stillness—and in that stillness, the question becomes personal.
Will you just observe what happened to Jesus, or will you respond to Him? The call is simple but costly: watch where He is, work for Him, and learn to wait on Him. Because the cross doesn’t just reveal who Jesus is—it reveals who you are.
