Show Notes

A non-profit on the North Shore, Build Health International, has been working for years to get critical health infrastructure and supplies out to developing countries. Now, they're breathing new life into medical supplies used at the "Boston Hope" COVID-19 field hospital. Sarah Sceery and Zac Chase of BHI join Nichole on the show to talk about the process and where the supplies are going. COVID-19 affected each of our lives in different ways, but for many of us, it took a toll on our physical, mental, and emotional health. Now that we're getting back into the "new normal", how are we supposed to work through all this? Dr. David Brendel, a psychiatrist in Belmont, returns to the show to talk about what he's seeing in his practice and offer advice for those who may be struggling with re-entry into a re-opened world.
