The story of "Doubting Thomas" has been used to make a lot of people feel like doubting isn't a very "Christian" thing to do. After all, didn't Jesus basically tell Thomas to knock it off with all of the asking for proof stuff? Didn't Jesus give props to anyone who stops asking questions and just accepts what their friends say? There's just one problem with this reading of the "Doubting" Thomas story, and it's kind of a big problem...
