Luke 9:1-6;10; 10:1-17
The title is a quote that Bilbo says in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. There's a kind of learning that simply cannot be accessed by books or by thinking harder. It happens on adventures. Sometimes the adventure you find yourself on is a journey OUTSIDE of yourself into vulnerable territory. Sometimes the adventure you find yourself on takes you INSIDE yourself into vulnerable territory that you have not yet navigated but need to. Either way, you will never be the same. This episode works towards an understanding of the Spirit of Jesus who sends us on adventures still.
