Regie und Drehbuch stammen nach Rogue Nation und Fallout wieder von Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher, Die üblichen Verdächtigen), der mit Tom Cruise (Top Gun: Maverick) schon seit Edge of Tomorrow zusammenarbeitet.
