The article details how it all started. An unknown senator had a son who used cannabis. The senator wanted to know what the cannabis was doing for his son. Since there was no research options in US then he accepted the request of young research at Hebrew University.
The researcher was Raphael Mechoulam. Raphael became a doctor and ultimately was responsible for defining the cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. He is the father of cannabis, father of thc, and father of cbd.
