Spring Aboard: Boating Season Begins!

Boating season is just about here! We want you to start getting prepared before you head on the water. One of the first steps you can take is to sign up for a boating education course. From March 12 through March 23 we're joining other agencies nationwide in the Spring Aboard – Take A Boating Education Course campaign. Whether you have taken a class in the past or are new to boating, you can always learn more about how to be safe and responsible on the water. Several online courses will be offering a 50% discount during the campaign. In this week's Nevada Wild, Ashley Sanchez and Aaron Keller sit down with NDOW's Statewide Boating Education Coordinator Aaron Meier, and Southern Nevada Boating Education Coordinator Nick Duhe to talk about the campaign and other steps you can take to make sure you and your family have a great boating experience.
