Show Notes
While the Nevada Department of Wildlife is happy to hear that people are getting outside and ice fishing, we want to make sure they're taking the proper precautions to have a safe and enjoyable experience. It's also important to know which bodies of water are safe enough for ice fishing.
In this week's Nevada Wild, NDOW's Ashley Sanchez and Aaron Keller sit down with Kevin Joell and Pete Briant from the Reno Fire Department to talk about steps people should take before heading out on ice, how to decide on a safe place to ice fish and what to do in a worst case scenario.
