Chuck B was swimming without a wetsuit in the cold ocean waters off La Jolla “Bird Rock” beach when he got swept out to sea. As he became exhausted in his struggle, the water was suddenly no longer freezing and uncomfortable but, warm and natural. Chas narrates from the NDERF archive.

Jill was around three or four years old when she and her older sister were jumping on their bed. When her sister pushed her she flew off the bed and hit the floor.
