An injured hiker was forced to spend Monday night at the base of Dragontail Peak above Colchuck Lake in the Enchantments before being rescued Tuesday morning.
A firefighter in training with the Wenatchee Valley Department has been charged with felony harassment and misdemeanor assault for allegedly making threats to a superior and to a fellow firefighter during a mental health crisis, and for fighting with team members when they came to his home to intervene.
