- Alertness
- Movement and activity (tension, perseverative movements, non-goal-directed behaviors, itching/picking)
- Facial expressions and continuity with words
- Eye contact
- Speech patterns (articulation, stuttering, mumbling, baby-talk, use of cultural dialects)
- Attitude toward therapist
