Forskningsprosjektet "Literary Citizens of the World. Tracing the Transnational Crossroads of Books in Early Modern Norway" (LitCit) arrangerer den internasjonale bokhistoriske konferansen Literary Citizenship, som inngår i Nasjonalbibliotekets 500-årsjubileum for de første bøkene trykt for Norge. En rekke bokhistoriske forskere fra ulike land gjester Nasjonalbiblioteket. Dette foredraget holdes av Roger Chartier professor i tidligmoderne europeisk historie og kultur, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales og Collège de France, Paris og Universitetet i Pennsylvania.
