Dr. Marissa Slaven has spent the last 30 years taking care of patients and raising her family. She started writing fiction a few years ago and hasn’t stopped since. While doing research for her young adult novel about climate change Marissa became passionate about the environment. She divides her spare time between environmental activism and screenwriting.
