ज्वलदक्षि परिक्षरदुग्रविष- श्वसनोष्मभर: स महाभुजग: । परिदश्य भवन्तमनन्तबलं समवेष्टयदस्फुटचेष्टमहो ॥६॥

ज्वलत्-अक्षिwith flaming eyesपरिक्षरत्-उग्र-विष-emitting deadly poisonश्वसन्-ऊष्मभर:breathing out intense heatस महाभुजग:that huge serpentपरिदश्यbitingभवन्तम्-अनन्तबलंThee of limitless strengthसमवेष्टयत्-coiled (around Thee)अस्फुट-चेष्टम्-making invisible Thy movementsअहोAlas

Alas! That huge serpent emitting deadly poison and breathing out intense heat, bit Thee of limitless strength, all over Thy body. Then it coiled around Thee making Thy body and Thy movements invisible.
