अतिमोहनविभ्रमा तदानीं मदयन्ती खलु वारुणी निरागात् । तमस: पदवीमदास्त्वमेना- मतिसम्माननया महासुरेभ्य: ॥९॥

अति-मोहन-विभ्रमाhighly exciting and deludingतदानींthenमदयन्ती खलुintoxicating indeedवारुणी निरागात्liquor emergedतमस: पदवीम्-the source of all sins and viceअदा:- त्वम्-एनाम्-Thou gave herअति-सम्माननयाwith great honorमहा-असुरेभ्य:to the great Asuras

Then the highly exciting, deluding and intoxicating liquor gushed forth. This, the source of sins and vices, Thou ceremoniously gave to the great Asuras.
