अमुं च संपाश्य विकर्षतो भटान् विमुञ्चतेत्यारुरुधुर्बलादमी ।
निवारितास्ते च भवज्जनैस्तदा तदीयपापं निखिलं न्यवेदयन् ॥५॥
Amuṁ cha saṁpāśya vikarṣato bhaṭān
Vimuñchate tyārurudhurbalādamī ।
Nivāritāste cha bhavajjanaiḥ tadā
Tadīyapāpaṁ nikhilaṁ nyavedayan ॥5॥
அமும் ச ஸம்பாஶ்ய விகர்ஷதோ படாந்
விமுஞ்சதே த்யாருருதூர்ப³லாத்மீ ।
நிவாரிதாஸ்தே ச ப⁴வஜ்ஜநைஸ்ததா
ததீயபாபம் நிகிலம் ந்யவேத³யந் ॥5॥
अमुं च संपाश्यhim (Ajaamila) tying up with ropesविकर्षत: भटान्(and) dragging, to the messengers (of Yama)विमुञ्चत-इति-"Release him" thus (saying)आरुरुधु:-बलात्-अमी(were) stopped by force, theyनिवारिता:-ते च भवत्-जनै:-and were obstructed by Thy emissariesतदा तदीय-पापं निखिलंthen, all his sinsन्यवेदयन्(they) narrated
Seeing Ajaamil tied up with ropes and being dragged by the messengers of Yama, they were obstructed by Thy emissaries by force and were stopped to do so. Then the emissaries of Yama narrate all his sins.
