Portraits and Profiles// Paul
We conclude our Portraits and Profiles series with the life of Paul. Paul, once a persecutor of Christians himself, had a dramatic encounter with the risen Jesus and his life has never been then same since then. Pastor Chip teaches through Paul's messages to the church out of 2 Corinthians. Through Paul's life and testimony we see that your past doesn't determine your future. God uses people of all different kinds of backgrounds. Through Him, we have the strength and endurance to do whatever His will is for us. Chip continues to highlight Paul's life and bring out some serious life applications through this message. We hope you have enjoyed this series. Stay connected for our next series to come!

Portraits and Profiles// David
Pastor Chip Bullock teaches on the life of David in this week's sermon series of Portraits and Profiles. David's life has God's handprint all over it and there are so many events in his life that we can relate to. Pastor Chip really highlights the part of David's younger adult life in where he is fleeing from King Saul. He reads from 1 Samuel 27 where he points out that even David, a man after God's own heart, still had regular humanistic views like everyone else, but later in his life, we see that even in tough circumstances he still had faith in God.

This weeks portraits and profiles highlights the story of Rahab from the book of Joshua. Pastor Ken Behrens gives us some insight of the culture and landscape during that time. He teaches us about Rahab's life and how she trusted and believed in the God of the Israelites. Someone with a "not so clean" reputation, ends up being in the lineage of Jesus Christ! Rahab showed so much faith in what she did, she is an amazing picture of grace, and her story can inspire us to go and spread the gospel of Jesus to others.

This week in our Portraits and Profiles series, we take a closer look into the life Joshua; around the time where he takes over as the leader of the Israelites after Moses. Pastor Chip highlights how God repeated to Joshua, "be strong and courageous!" three times when instructed to lead the people into the promised land. He teaches three applicable life points on how being courageous leads to success.

Portraits and Profiles// Esther
This Portraits and Profiles lesson looks further into the life of Queen Esther. Pastor Chip walks us through most of the highlights of the book of Esther. We learn through Esther's life that doing anything takes courage and there is power in one. Esther was one person, but with God's help and courage, she saved a nation!

Portraits and Profiles// Moses
This week in our series, Portraits and Profiles, we look at the story of Moses. We are very familiar with the events surrounding Moses' life, but this week, Pastor Ken hits more on the beginning parts of Moses' life as a baby and the culture of Egypt around that time. He points out the careful details and planning of Moses' mom to do what she did in keeping Moses alive during that time. With this, we learn all about God's will and perfect timing.

Portraits and Profiles//Jehoshaphat
Pastor Ben Hartford leads us into week four of our Portraits and Profiles series, with the story from the life of King Jehoshaphat. He takes us into 2 Chronicles 20:1-30 where we learn how God fought the battle for the Israelites through their obedience and humility towards Him. They simply declared God as the victor and went out into the front lines singing praises to Him; when God took over and turned the enemies against one another to defeat themselves. Ben teaches on how King Jehoshaphat's story shows multiple aspects of worship and how it becomes a battle ground in spiritual warfare.

Portraits and Profiles//Joseph
In week three of the series, Portraits and Profiles, we dive in a little deeper into the life of Joseph. Pastor Chip reads through the accounts found in Genesis chapters 37-45 of Joseph's undeserving setbacks. However, through the life and example of Joseph, we learn that we can be reminded that God has a plan and can use these setbacks for His purposes and glory!

Portraits and Profiles// Jacob
Our second week into the series, "Portraits and Profiles" takes us deeper into the life of Jacob; reading from Genesis chapters 25-32. Pastor Chip talks about how Jacob was a deceiver of sorts and not perfect by any means. But we can relate to the fact that even when we are faithless, God is still always faithful. He ends with an amazing application of Psalm 46:11, "The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress."

We are beginning a new series called, "Portraits and Profiles" where we take a closer look into the lives of people in the Bible. This week we look closer at the life of Abraham and know why he was called a friend of God. He wasn't perfect by any means but he showed tremendous faith in God and what He said. Pastor Chip walks us through his story to encourage us and teach us more about faith.

SENT: Living for Something Bigger
We conclude our SENT series with Pastor Ken teaching on how we are living for something bigger! As we go through verses in 1 Corinthians, Pastor Ken shares 5 point on how to live for something bigger than ourselves. We all have different gifts to be used for the kingdom of God for His glory!

SENT: A Lifestyle of Service
In week 3 of our series, "Sent", we hear a testimony from one of our staff members who has an amazing gift of serving in all different aspects. He uses his many skills in maintanance for the church and shares how his heart has changed and grown in the way he serves. Pastor Chip then teaches on how Jesus modeled His life here on earth for us to follow. Chip references back to scripture to point out 9 different ways Jesus lived out a servant lifestyle. What does the Jesus Lifestyle look like?

SENT: Find Your Gift
We continue on with week two of the series, "Sent: A Hands and Feet Lifestyle". Pastor Chip teaches from Romans chapter 12, talking about the different gifts distributed to each and every one of us by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We start off with another testimony from one of our lead members of the worship team, and how he uses his gifts and talents for God's kingdom and how his gifts developed over the years for God's glory! We each have a gift, when we find what that is, we are called to use them and live out God's purpose for our lives.

SENT: A Hands and Feet Lifestyle
We start off our new series, "Sent", with a personal testimony of an art teacher who found her purpose and calling in life using the gifts and talents God has given her. In this new series, Pastor Chip will walk us though scripture, teaching on the great commission and what it means to be sent; living a hands and feet lifestyle. This week, Chip highlighted some key verses in the New Testament that talk about the Holy Spirit energizing us to live out our purpose as God has called us.

Rooted: Growth in Community
Pastor Chip Bullock concludes our Rooted series with week four, "Growth in Community". We look at Romans 12:1-21 talking about the body of Christ and how we are to act toward one another. Pastor Chip begins to elaborate on having real, authentic relationships with other believers in all sincerity and love. Having the right people around you, can help you be encouraged to grow in Christ.

Rooted: Continual Growth in Christ
We continue on with week three of the series Rooted: Foundations of a Christ-Follower. Pastor Ken Behrens teaches on the importance of continual growth in Christ. He goes through scripture as well as teachings from Bible scholar, John Wesley, to show us how we are to mature in our faith and relationship with Jesus. Being rooted in Christ makes it possible for us to mature and grow in Him!

Rooted: How Do I Follow Jesus? (Walking and Living with/in the Spirit)
In week two of the Rooted series, Pastor Chip preaches on living in the Spirit, and how we give ourselves to the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The issue is not getting more of the Holy Spirit, it's Him getting more of us! Pastor Chip walks us through scripture and teaches what it means to be rooted through the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives!

Rooted: What does it mean to be a Christian?
Welcome to the new series called Rooted: Foundations of a Christ-Follower. In our first week, we look into what it means to be a Christian, or better yet to say, a Christ- Follower. The key to a firm foundation as a Christ- Follower, starts with Repentance! Week four of the series,"Passion: His journey....Our hope", brings to us to the foot of the cross. Pastor Chip dives into the Word of God and teaches on the events and details that happened during Jesus' crucifixion. It's not always easy to imagine what exactly Jesus had to suffer through, but knowing the truth about the price that Jesus paid for us, should bring us to our knees in thankfulness and praise for our God loves us so much! His Passion is for our forgiveness!

This is week two of the PASSION series. Pastor Ken Behrens highlights events that took place on Tuesday-Wednesday of the week leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Join us each week leading up to Easter as we go through our new series Passion// His Journey...Our Hope. Pastor Chip takes us through each day of the week leading up the resurrection of Jesus. This week, he talks about the events that happened on Palm Sunday, reading from Matthew 21:1-10. Chip highlights how God's plan are unstoppable, how Jesus is committed to what we need not what we want, and finally; how Jesus' Passion is for our confidence in Him.

Family Matters
What does the Bible teach us about our family life? In this sermon series, "Family Matters", we take a look at some key verses in the Bible that talk about what a godly family looks like. This week, Pastor Chip takes us through some verses in Ecclesiastes that encourage us to enjoy life through Christ. As families we need to take time to slow down from the business of life and enjoy time with our families. Great families have Fun Together!! Take time to experience love and joy as a family by going out and doing something fun together!

RESET// My Witness
We end our RESET series with Pastor Ken Behrens teaching on resetting our "Witness". As Christians, we are called to be the salt and light of the world; to share with others the life we have found in Jesus and the light that He brings in a dark world. But sometimes we draw back from being a witness because we are afraid of what others might think or that we might say something wrong. So this teaching is to encourage us to step out and share with others who are lost what Jesus had done for us and to share the hope and life our Savior brings!

RESET// My Community
Week four of the RESET series is focusing on resetting "My Community". Church is not an event but a family to belong to. As we look through scripture, we see how vital the church body in the life and growth of a believer. We see in God's Word how we each have different gifts and roles in the body of Christ to edify and encourage one another. We find love, acceptance, significance, and security in Christ and as one body united in Him.

RESET//My Identity
Week three of the series RESET, talks about reseting our Identity. This world likes to label everything including people. Too often we label ourselves with lies of who we are according to past mistakes. But thats not how God sees us. We look at the book of Ephesians where Christ talks about being adopted to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will. Our identity is found in Christ whom redeemed us and has called us by name. A label may describe you, but your identity in Christ defines you!

RESET// My Faith
Stepping into week 2 of the RESET series, Pastor Chip preaches on resetting our faith. "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." -Hebrews 11:6. Pastor Chip takes us through some passages in scripture highlighting stories of little faith and great faith and how God is amazed by both. We need to trust Jesus, get away from our securities and step out in faith. "Lord cause me to believe so that I may see!"

RESET//My Heart
Happy New Year! Welcome to the first week of our new series, "RESET"! We all want a better version of ourselves, right? We may try to obtain that every new year with resolutions for ourselves in some way, shape, or form. How about a resolution for our heart, soul, and minds? Pastor Chip teaches on reseting our hearts. He walks us through Jesus' parable about the sower, describing the different types of soil and how the crops grew on them. He explained that each different type of soil represent a different type of heart that we may find ourselves having. The end point is that to have a good heart, we need to RESET our hearts to make it available to God's Word. "He who has an ear, let him hear!"-Jesus

Vintage Christmas//Truth: God came to be with us so He could live in us
We end the Vintage Christmas Series with the truth that, "God came to be with us so He could live in us". Pastor Chip recaps on the all the vintage truths in the Christmas Story of Jesus' birth. The last truth he highlights is that God came to be Immanuel, "God with us!" He knows us and knows what we are going through and everything that we feel. Jesus was fully human and fully God and He came to dwell among us so that He could save us! Merry Christmas!

Vintage Christmas// Truth: Jesus' birth warrants a response, Come to Jesus
Pastor Ken takes over teaching on week 3 of our Vintage Christmas Series. Pastor Ken reads from the Luke 2:8-20 and highlights the account of the shepherds who heard the great news of Jesus' birth. We receive some background and history about shepherds which Ken ties into later in the message. He also takes us through Matthew 2:1-12 talking about the wise men. The focal point is the truth that no matter who or where you are, our natural response to Christmas is to come to Jesus.

Vintage Christmas// Truth: Trust and Obediance are always God's way
Week two of the sermon series, "Vintage Christmas" hits on the truth that trust and obedience are always God's way. Pastor Chip walks us through the accounts found in Luke and Matthew when Mary and Joseph would find out they have been chosen to be the parents of Jesus the promised Messiah. It would take trust and obedience from both of them to follow God's plan. From their story we learn that you don't have to understand the plan to "Trust" that God has a purpose!

Vintage Christmas// Truth: Redemption is at the heart of Christmas
Pastor Chip kicks off a new sermon series called, "Vintage Christmas". He discribes the word "vintage" as something that is classic, timeless, quality or choice. He takes us though the lineage of Jesus, which then brings us to the book of Ruth, where we find the truth that redemption is at the heart of Christmas. These truths on Christmas are classic, timeless, "Vintage!"

We conclude our SHIFT series with how to "Shift our joy". Pastor Chip teaches that joy is different from happiness; that it is internal, Christ-centered, and a choice. He shows what God says about joy through passages from the Bible and talks about how we can have joy!

Week two of the series "Stuck", talks about being "stuck with myself". "Why do I do what I do? Why do I keep doing what I do?" Pastor Chip highlight three areas where we can be stuck with ourselves: Our Trying, our Isolation, and our Paradigm. We become "Unstuck" from ourselves when we surrender to the Lord's power, embrace His community, and when we are overwhelmed by His love.

We begin week one of a four week series titled, "Stuck". This week, Pastor Chip talks about being "Stuck...in my past". We need to have an understanding of grace to understand who we are called to be as Christians. God’s expressions of grace were innumerable; His requirements were minimal. Grace is never earned, it is always offered, and its always more than enough!

Pastor Chip Bullock ends the I Am series with "I AM the Resurrection and the Life". Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life; therefore, I am sustained. Sometimes in life we ask the question, "why doesn't God do something about this"? Well the answer is, " He already has"! Chip hits on this point with the story of Lazarus and reveals how Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life and why we need Him.
