The nun, Sister Mary Janina, came up missing in 1907 and most everyone in town was in on the search, including bloodhounds and even a clairvoyant. Father Edward was dead set to find Sister Janina's body.....and he did. Sister Janina’s body was discovered 11 years after her disappearance in a shallow grave in the basement of the church. What happened to Sister Janina and how her body ended up in the basement of the old church is a secret the building would not tell. Her death remains a mystery and whoever knew about it kept their secret.
