In 2018 we received the worst possible news we could hear. Our daughter had Leukemia. That moment set off a firestorm within our family that has forever united us as family. So many people laid down their "weapons" for the "good of the girl". Would we lose her? We didn't know. We do now.....no.
In April of 2020, in the midst of a horrible COVID scare, we decided to end treatment early...to protect our recovering daughter. We had visions of bell ringing and a large family trip to Disney in Florida......all on hold, now.
Fast forward to last week. November of 2022. Make-A-Wish came through with a GRAND playhouse for Audrey to have. They provided a bell...and Audrey rang it!
From our family to all of you....thank you.
We discuss this awesome organization and their impacts so far. They deserve SO much more attention than they get.
We remember we're still parents with a podcast too :)
We still make horrible jokes. Edit out bad things that shouldn't be heard. We cuss. Don't most of you? I bet so.
