As the sun streamed through her window and the wave's hypnotic rhythm thrummed her awake, she knew this was the first day of her new life. Writing was on her agenda for the day, but first breakfast. The diner was cute and the aromas made her mouth water. After being seated in a booth, she noticed a problem. A man was staring at her. Was this the man from the night before? He strolled over to her table and introduced himself. He was charming, until she told him that she wrote "chick lit". Then his gaze heated and it was clear that he was thinking about erotica. The heat in his eyes confirmed that she definitely needed a pen name.
