Show Notes

Everyone who knows me can acknowledge my strong blues curiosity on learning how to play it. I have been reading about those performers who shined in the 1940’s, before that and has left a mark on me; Jontavious Willis is not exempted from that music footprint left on me. A guest that I had on my podcast, Gustavo Sanchez Haase, recommended me to listen to Jontavious and he was right on cue to lead me to him. I talked with Jontavious about his musical background, church, and anything that blues engulfed in Georgia. This episode was recorded on my old equipment and software. Any sound improvement I owed it to Hindenburg Journalist Pro, my new podcast editing platform. Jontavious was in Nashville having a rest from all his commitments and he accepted to do this episode while resting and I appreciated that he took time to do this episode. Definitely it was worth talking to him about his music and musical career. If he decides to play here in DC, believe me that I will be in front row to watch him perform that wonderfult blues, because our life is full of blues music, if you have not noticed it.
