Episode 86 Haroon Alam, a Tabla performer in DC

This episode was recorded in Haroon’s house where he has a stage full of equipment and fitted to do performance. I can attest that this room was fascinating and magical, it is the place where all the magic comes from his music. You will notice that he speaks enthusiastically of his gurus/mentors and that he is a humble, kindred, and generous person. He accepted to sit with me and record this episode with such humbleness that I felt that the atmosphere was relaxed . At minute 18 you will listen a sitar that he uses to tune in his Tabla. While we were recording this episode, he was like 3 feet away from the microphone, you will listen to some grain in the sound. Even though I tried to reduce it, with my new software platform, I could not achieve any clean sound from him.
