Show Notes

On today’s episode we took a turn in our road and went, by line phone, to Pennsylvania, my beautiful state. We talked with Jeff Mamett and boy we had a great time. We talked about the good old times in music in bars when patrons will paid you and you will not depend on tips to make a living. We talked about Nashville as a tourist attraction and how it changed from what it was. Jeff is your true Americana musician. He is not only a singer but a storyteller. If you have read Mark Twain, Guy Clark or John Prine you know what I am talking about. I can tell you that Jeff is that true American you want to sit and pick up your guitar or whatever instrument you played and be his sideman. Jeff and his new album Carry me Back is an outstanding album. Jeff is a humble guy, he is a great musician who will never talk bad about anyone or any genre, and I admire and respect that trait from him. He is a great storyteller and his music from his latest album, Carry me back is a proof of it. Check his website at www.jefmamett.com.
