奧運是電影《火戰車》的主軸，很多人很喜歡說，「政治歸政治，體育歸體育」，但是姚孟昌教授指出，古代奧運本身就是宗教與政治的結果。而在《火戰車》中還有一個主軸，透過蘇格蘭選手李愛銳表達出來，也就是基督教的人文淑世精神。
