1943年4月6日，聖修伯里的《小王子》在紐約出版，問世以來，至今已經翻譯成許多語言，以各種版本出現在讀者面前。同時，更改編成舞台劇、動畫、電影，歷久不衰。今年是《小王子》出版80周年，各國都有許多紀念活動，數位傳聲推出「小王子計畫」，將以不同的語言朗讀《小王子》的第一章，以此凸顯《小王子》流傳的廣度。
